Guy From Your High School Comes Out As Racist

MEDFORD/SOMERVILLE, MA- Justin Ebber, that random kid who went to your high school and was in your Chem class, shocked friends and family with a 150-word Facebook post coming out to his community as a racist. Ebber made the post in the early hours of November 9th, a mere three hours after Trump’s victory and amidst a slew of posts from other irrelevant people you knew two years ago.

“There is a part of myself I cannot keep from you all anymore, much in the same way those Asians can’t keep from opening nail salons,” the post begins, a “feeling white pride” tag right above it. “I have not been honest with those around me, or myself, in a very long time, and I am unable to hide any longer. I’m racist.”

Ebber’s status gained more than 10 likes and about 25 wows in the span of two hours, with your U.S. History teacher’s comment garnering well over six likes. That girl Melinda who you sometimes smiled at in the hallway commented, “This is unconstitutional and frankly unChristian. The Bible says, ‘Love each other as I have loved you.’ You disgust me.” When we tried to reach her for a follow up, we found that she had unfriended Ebber on Facebook and thus was much harder to online stalk. Ebber concluded his post by saying, “My transition to being out as a racist will not be easy, but I hope I can rely on the love of my white friends and anger of my acquaintances of color to get me through it.”
